Frequently Asked Questions

Product Care

Our products are easy to care for and require little beyond regular cleaning. For tiles, we recommend a damp cloth with a mild, non-acidic soap. For more challenging stains and hard water build up, there are market available products that are specifically designed for this. Cleaning products that contain phosphoric and glycolic acid should be avoided as it may etch the ceramic paint.

For every day products such as dinner ware and decorations, we recommend hand washing with regular dish soap. While our products are dishwasher safe, chipping can occur if the pieces come in contact during the cycles.

Returns

At Arte Ventosa, we take great pride in the quality and craftsmanship of all our products. We carefully inspect your order prior to shipment. Upon receipt of your shippment, please inspect your purchase and notify us of any damage within 3 days. We will arrange for a prompt replacement.

We cannot accept returns on special-order items, personalized and custom pieces. We also cannot accept returns of final-sale items.

We recommend that all products be inspected immediately upon receipt.

Ordering Turn Around Time

For items that are custom ordered, we will work directly with you to ensure that your needs are met. This includes custom designs and styles. As each product is handmade and brought up from Central Mexico, please place all orders far enough in advance for your project.

For standard products, while we do keep most of the items in our warehouse, we cannot guarantee that all products will be in stock at any given time.

Tile and Mural Installation

Your purchase is an important investment and proper installation is critical. To help ensure a successful installation, please take note of these steps:

i. Select your installer and designer with consideration and care. For any project, we recommend asking for references from the installer’s previous clients.

ii. Make sure that your installer fully understands the patterns and designs and how the final product will appear.

iii. See that your installer reviews and understands the special installation procedures recommended for specific products.

iv. You as the customer should always supervise the installation process.
